The Status Quo ticket from 11th October 1973, brought back happy memories of my misspent youth, being poor school boys the £1.25 seemed extortionate (the price of about eight pints at the time),so we decided to make our own, we purchased one and roping in my mate's brother who had started working for the council, where they had an exotic piece of equipment called a photocopier, we went to the stationers in Richmond Street and got some green paper the closest match we could find and got half a dozen printed off, we used a pin to replicate the perforations in the ticket and went in separately so the gits on the door didn't notice that the serial numbers were the same, oh what good times, I still miss the old stadium, lets face it, it was a dump, but the best gig venue I've ever been to.
